Kevin Mohl and the Burning Sensation has been "spreading the love" since 2003. Comprised of music majors from Butler University in Indianapolis, the band's funky, jazzy, and percussive sound originates from the diverse backgrounds of its musicians. Each member was classically trained on his instrument, and each comes from a stylistically different background from orchestral to jazz to world music. In their short life-span they have played across the state of Indiana, and their EP has been distributed to over 500 eager fans. Their website, www.KmandtheBS.com (launched in June of 2004) received over 25,000 hits in two months. They found their stride performing with national acts Stroke 9, Bottle of Justus, DJ Logic as well as Grammy Winners Rhymefest, Maroon 5, and John Mayer. Their music crosses cultural bounds, as illustrated by their performance with Showtime at the Apollo On Tour. Their rhythmic precision, melodic nuance, and party attitude answers the question: who's got the Burning Sensation?

June 16, 2006 - Kevin Mohl and the Burning Sensation will be performing as a part of  the CMJ Festival on the Undercurrents Stage on Friday, June 16, 2006 at at Wilbert's Nightclub located at  812 Huron Rd in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.

July 14, 2006 - Kevin Mohl and the Burning Sensation will be performing as a part of  the Harborfest on the main stage on Friday, July 14th, 2006 located at Voinovich Park on the end of the East Ninth Street Pier in Cleveland, Ohio.  Showtime at 3:00 pm.

July 15, 2006 - Kevin Mohl and the Burning Sensation will be performing as a part of  the Ingenuity Festival on the Undercurrents Stage on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Wilbert's Nightclub located at  812 Huron Rd in downtown Cleveland.
