HOSTS BENEFIT FOR NEW ORLEANS MUSICIANS
The
Indianapolis chapter of Undercurrents will join the rest of the
Undercurrents National Music chapters in hosting a benefit for New Orleans
musicians who have been affected by the recent hurricane.
The benefit will be on
Wednesday, October 5th at 8 pm at
Birdy’s Live located at 2131 East 71st Street in
Indianapolis. 317-254-8971. For those ages 21 and over, a $6 minimum
donation is suggested.
Performing will be
Sibling Rivalry, Rick Clayton, Jenn Christy,
Jer Gregg Band,
Joel Weir & the Faithful, and
Jethro Easyfields.
Money raised by these
events will be donated to the
New Orleans Musicians Clinic (NOMC). The New Orleans Musicians'
Clinic is a wellness partnership serving professional musicians in the
metropolitan New Orleans area. The clinic is one of the few of its kind,
providing healthcare services for the city's musicians.
The New Orleans Musicians Clinic is determined to
keep Louisiana music alive!
